49th Charity Angel(Boy group) is EXO!

 

It's been 7 months now! 

EXO previously got to win the Charity Angel for 20 times in total and 6 months in a row. This time, they won again in October and made them become the winner again for the 7th time in a row. This month, EXO got 2997 points and beat BTS by 25 points and NU'EST by 74 points. EXO kept the No.1 spot for 27 out of 30 days during the period of September 16 to October 15. 

 

And now that it's already been 7 months, can we expect them to be the Charity Angel throughout the year now?!

Wait, how are the points accumulated? What is 'Charity Angel'? 🔽

Every day, after the voting time(until 23:30 KST), the rankings are arranged and the person who became the first in the daily rankings gets 100 points, and the second gets 99points, 98 for the third, and so on. All these points are accumulated for 30 days until the 10th of every month, the day before the Individual Charity Angel announcement. The person who gets the most votes becomes the Charity Angel of that month. When Charity Angels are settled and announced on every 11th of the month(for the individual idols, for groups its 16th), 500k KRW is donated to charity organizations. In a few days, Charity Angel for the groups will be announced.

Since EXO beat BTS and became the second in the donation history chart, EXO's been keeping the spot. EXO's donation is 19 million KRW. Until October 2019, EXO has been awarded as the Angel for 21 times and the Fairy for 17 times.

 

The 50th Charity Angel will be announced on the 16th of November while the next Charity Fairy will be announced on the 1st of November. Stay tuned guys for the updates!
