47th Charity Angel (Girl Group) is TWICE!

TWICE received 2988 points and got the first place beating GFRIEND by 35 points and Red Velvet by 92 points. Last month, they were ahead of GFRIEND by 27 points and this month, the gap was much bigger, which proves that TWICE is still far ahead of every other girl group. 

 

Wait, how are the points accumulated? What is 'Charity Angel'? 🔽

Every day, after the voting time(until 23:30 KST), the rankings are arranged and the person who became the first in the daily rankings gets 100 points, and the second gets 99points, 98 for the third, and so on. All these points are accumulated for 30 days until the 10th of every month, the day before the Individual Charity Angel announcement. The person who gets the most votes becomes the Charity Angel of that month. When Charity Angels are settled and announced on every 11th of the month(for the individual idols, for groups its 16th), 500k KRW is donated to charity organizations. In a few days, Charity Angel for the groups will be announced. 

13th times in a row! What a record.

It was the 13th time in a row for TWICE to be awarded as the Charity Angel since July 2018. They never let other girl groups have the spot, by widening the big gap. Their accumulated charity amount now meets 11.5 million KRW, as they won Charity Angel for 14 times and Charity Fairy for 9 times. 

 

So...What is CHOEAEDOL?
