The boy who used to dream a singer

He debuted as an actor in 2011 by starring in the thriller film called Blind(2011). 

He showed up in several works: film <The Admiral: Roaring Currents>, tv-series <Wonderful Mama> and <Wonderful Days>.

And there was this TV series. REPLY 1998.

 

It is a tv show that brings up the nostalgic mood by showing the story of families and friends who lived in the 1980s. It was a massive hit in South Korea although it was aired on a cable channel called tvN. The viewer rating rose up to 18.8%. 

 

By playing romance with Hyeri, Park Bogum as 'Choi Taek' really did bring up a 'Taek syndrome'. 

 

I personally think that this is just the best scene throughout the series. I'm literally CRYING. Look at his INNOCENT EYES.

Now, as a top male actor in Korea 

After <Reply 1988>, he actually rose as a top actor in Korea. His latest works are <Encounter,2018> and <Love in the Moonlight, 2016>, Which are both mega hits in Korea, recording viewer ratings of 10.3% and 23.3% respectively. 

 

He played a king 'Lee Yeong' in <Love in the moonlight>. He showed the soft and tough charm at the same time which made many girls in Korea fell for him.
